The most valuable of all our principles is LOVE. We spell HOPE with a heart because it is the one aspect of life that has the power to transform the dreams, values and spirits of every child.

In the absence of LOVE, Cherish Uganda would not exist. We believe that God's divine nature is LOVE and because of His relentless compassion, He has called together a unique, diverse group of people to respond to the cries of orphaned and vulnerable children living with HIV/AIDS in Uganda. Therefore, we cannot separate our response from it's origin.

Our strategic plan includes LOVE. Our healthcare, prosperity generation and education all grow and develop on a foundation of LOVE. We ask ourselves, how can we provide healthcare in a way that communicates to each child and our surrounding community that they are loved? How do we equip and empower our children and our community to prosper in a way that is rooted in LOVE? How do we educate children in the knowledge that they are loved extravagantly?

The heart is the source of life and we want children living with HIV/AIDS to have hearts filled with HOPE. That is why we are deliberate about LOVE.
