Serve at Cherish or Share Our Story with friends to help #ChangeTheStory of HIV
In 2009, Cherish Primary School opened its doors to children in the community. As the kids in our care grew older, we saw a huge need for a high school for teens with HIV, so in 2016 Cherish High School welcomed its first students.
The Short-Term Care Facility provides 24-7, home-based care for HIV-positive children in desperate need of medical or emotional care. The length of stay varies from a few months to up to 3 years, based upon each child's unique situation.
In 2015 we opened Cherish Health Center. The clinic serves the surrounding communities as well as our staff, students, and children in our care.
In 2017, you all gave over $30,000 toward our Christmas in July Wishlist! This year, we have just 15 needs at Cherish we think you'll like.
We have been working to #ChangeTheStory of HIV for children in Uganda for over 10 years. Through Cherish Uganda God's love has been shared with thousands of children, students, adults, and staff members. Be a part of life change by partnering with us today!
